Great News! £25,000 Raised for LH

We have now had official confirmation from Little Havens that Friends of Katie have now raised £25,000 in Katie's memory. The hospice have sent us this certificate to acknowledge our achievement.

We have also received from the hospice a breakdown of where our money has been spent. Please see below for a brief summary. It should also be remembered that we have also raised over £1,250 for the Danbury Mission too.

The two extra long teenage beds cost £1,595 each with accessories and battery back up packs coming In at £875 each.

It cost £4,332 to refurbish the teenage bathrooms at the hospice while they are also currently refurbishing one of the bedrooms.

The remainder of the monies has been put towards the £2.3m needed to keep the hospice open.

An hour of nursing care at Little Havens - £16

An hour of music therapy for one - £30

An hour of respite care from EPIC Children’s Respite Service - £50

A weeks respite stay for one child and their family - £5,000
